Pewabic offers classes for adults in all skill and confidence levels. The facilities at historic Pewabic Pottery are exceptional and serve to enhance the educational program by providing high quality and diverse options for creating and firing ceramics.
There are many advantages to studying ceramics at Pewabic which include:

- Short sessions and workshops to let you try out a subject
- Afternoon and weekend Open Studio hours
- On-site ceramic exhibition galleries to provide examples and inspiration
- Opportunity to exhibit your work in the annual Staff & Student Exhibition.
- A variety of firing temperatures (cone 04, 6 and 10 reductions)

Class sizes are limited, sign up today! You can register by calling (313) 626-2000 to reach Customer Service, in person at our Museum Store (Mon-Sat 10am-6pm or Sun 12-4pm) or click here to Register Online. We accept Visa, Mastercard, cash or personal check. Please note: There will be no refunds given after the first class. Classes are education-based, therefore no commission work is allowed.

Our Education department continues to work diligently to provide a complete resource library and effective studio for our students. If you would like to donate to the Education Studio, please call (313) 626-2086 to request a Wish LIst. There are a variety of items in various price ranges to match your contribution needs.
