Ware Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing

Ware Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing is an exhibition showcasing work by Steve Hansen and Kip O’ Krongly. Through humor, material transformation and dynamic imagery these artists bring playful yet critical narratives to functional ware. With political issues and pop culture icons dressed in sarcasm and wit, the line between decorative and declarative begins to blur.

Memories of the Courtyard Kilns

Pewabic’s Board Chair Corey Scillian writes about our spring fundraiser to maintain and upgrade our educational facilities including the courtyard and kilns. Just west of Pewabic’s main entrance, beside a lovely old tree and group of picnic tables, you’ll find a collection of kilns. There are secrets here; secrets are what happen inside the kilns. Board Member Tom Phardel shares the secrets of Raku firing.
