Contact us at: design@pewabic.org or (313) 626-2030.

What should I bring to my first meeting?

Tile ShowroomAt your first meeting, you will have the opportunity to discuss your project with a Pewabic Designer. Please bring with you any information you have about the area you wish to tile. These may include but are not limited to:

  1. Samples of flooring, countertops, fabrics, etc.
  2. Blueprints and/or Architectural drawings
  3. Photos

After this first meeting, you will leave with a good idea of what your finished project may entail. It is our goal for you to have a clear and concise understanding of your project’s design and the time required for production.

When can I see my design?

Within 2-3 weeks you can expect to receive a computer aided drawing (CAD) of your project. These drawings may also include additional design options and/or colored sketches or renderings. Some projects may require additional meetings and design services in order to finalize all details.

When does fabrication begin?

Glazed TileOnce you are satisfied with your project proposal and all design details have been finalized, Pewabic will be happy to start fabricating your order. At this time the following is required to begin production of your project:

  1. Signed fabrication agreement
  2. 50% deposit for orders over $1000;
      100% deposit for orders less than $1000.
  3. Your signed approval of all design specifications

How long will fabrication of my project take?

Each Pewabic project has its own unique lead-time for us to produce your tile.  Our Stratton Collection typically takes 8-10 weeks, our Revelation Collection takes 10-12 weeks, and our Custom Collection takes between 12-16 weeks. Lead times may vary depending on quantity and complexity of the project. A scheduled completion date for your order will be provided to you once your order has moved into production.  All tile orders are produced on a first in first out basis.

Delivery of your order

When your order is completed, you will receive a courtesy phone call. You can choose to pick up your order or have it shipped. At this time, any remaining balances and shipping charges are due. Shipping charges are not calculated until your job is complete.
