Annie E. Dennis, Cranbrook grad and Pewabic’s Education Director, combines her love of ceramics with her love of plants for Pewabic’s inaugural Kiln Pad Pop-Up Exhibition Sunday, May 21.
Dennis describes ceramics and gardening as “both inward and outward, both a combination of art and science, both meditative in nature.” Her beautifully carved planters will adorn Pewabic’s kiln pad and courtyard, rain or shine, in this one day exhibition from 1 – 4 pm.
Works are available for purchase on a cash-and-carry basis. Future Kiln Pad Pop-Ups include Didem Mert, June 24 and Troy Bungart, August 5.
