Monday AM Beginner Wheel
Mondays from 10 am-1 pm

Summer 2023 - Session 2: June 26-August 14 (8-week course)
In this class taught by Pewabic Vessel Technician, Kayla Kirk, students who have never wheel thrown before or have only rudimentary throwing skills will learn centering, and pulling up forms including cylinders, cups, and bowls. Basic glazing techniques will be covered.
Who should take this class?: This class is best suited for adults (18+) who have never thrown before or would like a refresher on their fundamentals!
What’s included?:
- This includes 3 hours of weekly instruction (during scheduled class time)
- Glazes, slips, underglazes, and firings
- A small studio shelf,
- Open studio opportunity
- The first 25 pounds of clay
Open Studio Hours Session 2 through sign up system only:
Mondays-Tuesday 2 -5 pm
Thursdays 10 am-1 pm and 6-9 pm
Fridays 10 am-1 pm and 2-5 pm
Saturdays 2-5 pm
Please note: No cash refunds will be issued during the first week of classes. Pewabic Education Studio is under no obligation to reschedule classes that are canceled upon the closure of the facility due to inclement weather, power outages, misunderstanding of schedule, covid shut down, and or personal schedule. There is no guarantee that a make-up class will be offered. Classes will not be prorated to accommodate a missed class, nor will refunds be issued.
