Jen Stein grew up in Northern Italy which she cites as a huge influence on her artistic esthetics. Stein has worked with clay since the early 1990s and specializes in wheel-thrown porcelain.
The pieces you see here are part of a collection exemplifying the process Stein has been working to perfect for the better part of a decade. Each piece featured bass-relief textures and impressions using hand-carved roulettes inspired by nature.
Every pot is numbered and signed. Stein's careful attention to detail shines through in her work.
