Saying Pewabic Board Chair and Vice President & Corporate Secretary of Strategic Staffing Solutions, David Fox “wears many hats” is an understatement. Dedicated to excellence, David actively listens to customer challenges and goals, creating individualized solutions instead of quick fixes. His leadership style can be described as “team-centered”, holding true to his belief that a group is always stronger than an individual.
In his free time, David enjoys traveling, boating, attending art fairs, theater performances, and concerts. He is also a classically trained musician who plays the pipe organ every Sunday while directing both a vocal and handbell choir. David believes that “musical skills – such as analytical ability and recognizing patterns – are transferable to problem resolution in the business world.”

The ticketed event is just the beginning of a fun-filled weekend. Our House & Garden Show festivities continue from Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9. These days are free and open to the public and offer something for every art enthusiast planning to attend.

Be among the first to see Pewabic’s newest glazes and a new addition to our tile collection, alongside recent pieces by more than 50 artists from throughout North America–– including other-wordly ceramic pieces by globally acclaimed artists Susanne & John Stephenson.
We encourage you to explore the National Historic Landmark Pottery building and learn about Pewabic’s history spanning over 120 years in the beautiful city of Detroit. The Pewabic courtyard will transform into a biergarten for the weekend, featuring a selection of local brews and beverages. Sip a cold one and enjoy live music from power-pop duo and local music legends Stereobabe on Saturday, June 8 and musical stylings from the incomparable Steve Jarosz on Sunday, June 9.
