Gervais | Scalloped Planter

Rachel Gervais creates whimsical and colorfully handbuilt ceramics. Her simple forms are enhanced with different types of surface decorations. She incorporates varying patterns, textures, and bright colors as an homage to her own personal fashion style. It is her hope to add a bit of fun to the spaces her work occupies!

Rachel graduated in 2014 from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. She continues to make her own work at a studio she shares with friends. Additionally, she is a public school art teacher in Dearborn Heights, MI.
