Offsite Lab | Winter 2024 - Session 1

Offsite lab price: $115

In this 8-week studio drop-off system, students will have to access firings and studio glazes for independent work entirely at home. A studio staff member will be available via email or scheduled video chat. This lab is reserved for those who have taken a class at Pewabic within the last year, are considered advanced students, are able to work completely independently, and can follow studio guidelines. 

Who can take this study lab?: This lab is best suited for adults (18+) who are extremely familiar with our current studio setup, guidelines, and staff. Students who sign up for this time slot must have taken multiple classes with us very recently and would consider themselves intermediate or advanced (Can independently create successful ceramics projects without instruction or supervision and have a strong glaze practice without kiln incidents).

• Firings and glazes 
• The first 25 pounds of clay

What’s not included?: 

• Open studio time 
• A shelf

Session 1 Drop off times: 

Mondays: 10am-5pm

Tuesdays: 1pm-6pm

Wednesdays: 1-6pm

Thursdays: 1pm-2pm and 5-9pm

Fridays: 1pm-6pm

Saturdays: 1pm-5pm

Please note: No cash refunds will be issued during the first week of classes. Pewabic Education Studio is under no obligation to reschedule classes that are canceled upon the closure of the facility due to inclement weather, power outages, misunderstanding of schedule, Covid shutdown, and/or personal schedule. There is no guarantee that a make-up class will be offered. Classes will not be prorated to accommodate a missed class, nor will refunds be issued.
