Sally Jaffee began making pots in the 1970s. She joined a pottery co-op called Pottery Northwest co-op in Seattle. Jaffee took workshops from professionals and college professors, selling her art through galleries and art fairs.
Jaffee has been selling pottery for over 40 years. Her work is etched throughout layers of black and white slips on white stoneware. This piece encapsulates Jaffee’s glaze colors which reflect a timelessness she has always connected with through her artistic practice.
