Trinity is a five year old Detroit Public Schools student. She is one of the students in our Pre-K art classes. Every two weeks, a Pewabic teacher visits Trinity’s class to give art lessons with an emphasis on pre-academic skills. Our lessons help Trinity’s motor skills develop, allow her to think abstractly and nurture her cognitive abilities. Trinity is able to express herself through the magic of raw clay, and she loves art class.
Trinity is one of many children in Detroit Public Schools that Pewabic has impacted through art education. We know there are many more students that would benefit from the same opportunity. We believe Trinity and her classmates are the future of Detroit. You can make a direct impact on their lives and the future of our city by contributing to our Adopt A Classroom fundraiser. When you give a gift, your donation will be matched by the Benno M. Steinborn Trust up to $50,000.
