A Pewabic expert will guide you through the iconic tile installations at The Cathedral Church of St. Paul. These designs were the first to incorporate Pewabic's notable iridescent-glazed tiles.

Proceeds from these tours directly support Pewabic's mission and the maintenance of the Cathedral's over-century-old building.

Share a hands-on workshop experience at the Pottery with your mother, best friend, aunt, and any other important person who made an impact on your life. Be the first group to glaze the seasonal Trillium Tile designed by Ceramic Material Engineer, Alex Thullen, with a sweet-sunny glaze palette developed by our Education Team.

Join us for Pewabic's Annual House & Garden Show celebration of ceramic art. The weekend starts with our Garden Party ticked event on Thursday evening with a strolling supper and lively music under the big tent. Visit us Friday - Sunday to explore Detroit’s National Historic Landmark Pottery with a strolling tour, shop ceramic art, learn about Pewabic's over 120 years of making in Detroit, and enjoy the weekend biergarten in the courtyard.

Kick off the summer celebrations at Pewabic with a special, hands-on experience during our annual House & Garden Show. In this 1-hour, adult (16+) workshop, participants will choose 1 of our 4 designs and learn how to bulb glaze in the same way as our Pewabic fabrication team.

We will be showcasing new Pewabic pieces and work from independent ceramic artists in-store and in our courtyard all through the summer.

On certain Saturdays throughout the season, our courtyard will become a thriving venue for food trucks, musical guests, artist demos, workshops, and more during our Summer Market Series!

Pewabic’s annual sale of seconds is one of our most popular events. Shop seconds and unique finds under the big tent for up to 50% off! This is a great opportunity to get imperfect Pewabic vessels and art tiles at a steep discount.

$50 Per Slot - includes admission for one legal guardian (18+) and one child (7-15 years of age).

Learn alongside your child in this 1-hour workshop where both participants will create their own tile using terracotta slabs, extra clay, and colored slips!

Children must be accompanied by an adult, and vice versa. Once fired, your tiles will be ready for pick-up at a later date.

During these 1-hour workshops, participants choose one of 4 tile designs, including our seasonal tile design, and learn how to glaze in the same way as our fabrication team. Once fired, tiles will be ready for pick up at a later date. Workshops are reserved for individuals 16 years of age and older. 

We are absolutely thrilled to offer the opportunity for pre-scheduled, docent-led tours through our captivating historic museum and modern fabrication facility.
