THE TILE DESIGN
This modern tile design was inspired by the warmth and joy found in nature. Glazes in sunny yellow and soft shades of green make up a palette that evokes the sense of calm you get from sunlight streaming through a forest canopy or the colors of rock faces reflecting across cool lake waters. The vertical accent wall was designed to resemble a waterfall and is surrounded by a big and bold flower mural with exaggerated proportions and contrasting colors designed and painted by artist Abigail Victoria of Gailea Design.

FLORESCENCE : the process of flowering – Oxford Language Dictionary
This design features signature stylized Zinnia motifs captured by organic lines. The subtle monochromatic color palette draws from the underlying color present within the clay body of the Pewabic tile. Citrine floral centers pull the color of the citrine-glazed floor tiles upward within the space, connecting the mural composition to the tile. The organic lines that encapsulate the zinnias complement the geometric tile installation - creating a focus on the tile through contrasting visual styles. Florescence functions as a fully immersive design that covers all blank wall space. A balance between an accent wrap wall design and a fully immersive design is achieved through faint line work on the sink and entrance walls.
