In this 4-week intensive, taught by Pewabic Kiln Technician, Drew Davis, intermediate students will learn the fundamentals and fine details of wheel-throwing and constructing their own functional teapot. The teapot pictured in this listing was handcrafted by the instructor, Drew Davis.

Who Should Register?
This intensive is reserved for intermediate to advanced wheel-throwers who can center clay, pull walls, trim, and glaze successfully. If you consider yourself to be intermediate to advanced on the wheel and would like to focus on learning how to create a teapot, specifically, then this is the course for you!

  • 3 hours of weekly instruction (during scheduled class time)
  • Access to glazes, slips, and underglazes
  • 3 open studio sessions per week (schedule posted)

  • First 25 pounds of clay provided

  • The intensive is non-transferable, and no refunds will be issued after the first week of classes.
  • Pewabic Education Studio is not responsible for rescheduling classes due to facility closures caused by inclement weather, power outages, CDC health shutdowns, schedule misunderstandings, or personal scheduling conflicts.
  • Make-up classes are not guaranteed, and classes will not be prorated for missed sessions.
