Form and Function: Teapots Intensive | Fall 2025 - Session I

Intensive Session I: September 6-September 27 (4 weeks)
Intensive Overview: In this 4-week intensive taught by Pewabic Kiln Technician, Drew Davis, intermediate students will learn the fundamentals and fine details of wheel-throwing and constructing their own functional teapot.
Who Can Take This Intensive?
This intensive is designed for adult students (18+) students who consider themselves intermediate to advanced and would like to focus on the form and function of a particular throwing technique and concept: Teapots.
What’s Included:
- 3 hours of weekly instruction
- Access to glazes, slips, and underglazes
- Kiln firings
- Small, personal studio shelf
- First 25 lbs. of clay
- 3 weekly open-studio sessions (schedule posted in advance)
Important Information:
The intensive is non-transferable, and no refunds will be issued after the first week of intensives. Pewabic Education Studio is not responsible for rescheduling classes due to inclement weather, power outages, CDC-related shutdowns, schedule misunderstandings, or personal conflicts.
