All throughout the summer, our courtyard is transformed into an open-air market full of new ceramic art by Independent Artists from across the country. In good weather, take time to sit and enjoy the art surrounding you while listening to the babbling of our Pewabic tile fountain. We hope this can be an oasis of pause in your busy world.
Summer Market Series
On select Saturdays, celebrate the glorious Michigan summer season with live music, featured artists, a biergarten stocked by Detroit City Distillery + Florian East, food truck guests, and interactive activities for the whole family including Clay City for kids, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and more.

DEMO ARTIST | Pewabic artisan Avery June Campbell will be demonstrating her making process.
MUSICAL GUEST | Evening Star brings a sound that travels across the galaxies of the African Diaspora, blending jazz improvisation, neo-soul warmth, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and contemporary Black American music.
FOOD TRUCK | Sandos Detroit dishes out their tasty stacked sandwiches.

ARTIST DEMOS | Enjoy live demos from Pewabic artisan and instructor Josh Kochis.
MUSICAL GUESTS | Multi-instrumentalist and music instructor James Abud will be joined by actress and songstress Siena Hassett as they perform originals and a selection of covers.
FOOD TRUCK | Savory Sav will be at the pottery serving vegan versions of your favorite foods!
