Preserving a Michigan Treasure: Your Role in Our Creative Legacy

Nestled in the heart of Detroit’s East Side, Pewabic is more than just a pottery studio—it's a living testament to over a century of artistic heritage, and Michigan’s only National Historic Landmark pottery and arts nonprofit organization. For over 120 years, Pewabic makers, artists, and supporters have shaped not just clay but a community deeply rooted in creativity, craftsmanship, and culture. Your visitorship, donations, and even a simple follow on social media play a vital role in preserving this vibrant legacy. Together, we sustain a unique artistic ecosystem where the past inspires the present and the future takes shape in clay. This summer, we invite you to be part of something truly special.
