Yes! Pewabic is open to the public Tuesday - Thursday 10am - 5pm and Friday - Saturday 10am - 6pm. We have a store, exhibitions, a museum, and self-guided tour opportunities. Please note that Fabrication tours are not open to the public during Covid.
Yes! Pewabic has free parking lots in front of the pottery. You can also find street parking on Jefferson Avenue and along side streets in the neighborhood around Pewabic during high traffic events.
As a historic building constructed prior to ADA regulations, we have some tools to assist our visitors who arrive with wheelchairs, walkers and canes. We offer handicap-accessible parking spaces in front of the pottery and a ramp to the front patio. Call the number on the sign next to the front door for assistance with the ramp into the pottery itself. Please ask a staff member to direct you to our handicap restroom. We are constantly striving to improve our accessibility, so if you have any suggestions after your visit, please share them with us!

The first room when you enter the store contains the Pewabic ceramics made here at the pottery. The second room in the store is work by artists from across North America. Some of these artists take classes at Pewabic, work at Pewabic, or have learned ceramics at Pewabic. Ask our retail team members if you have questions. The tiles in the tile showroom are all created here at Pewabic with clay made in our 1912 clay mixer and filter press.
Online everything is made at Pewabic except the work under the "Independent Artists" section of the shop.
Absolutely! Our members enjoy discounts on shopping year round. Explore our membership options for more information. We also sell our seconds and overrun pottery and tiles at up to 50% off during our Summer Sale once a year. Pro tip- become a member before Summer Sale for first day access and the biggest selection, especially if you plan to look for architectural tile for a specific project. Yes! As a member you will receive a discount on most Pewabic purchases. Your membership level determines your discount and is printed on your membership card. Please allow up to 72 hours for your membership discount to become active after purchasing a membership.
No. Your membership information is stored in our system. Simply tell your cashier the name associated with your membership.
Memberships can be renewed in the Pewabic store, online, over the phone by calling 313.626.2002, or with a renewal form via mail.

We do not keep architectural tiles in stock. A limited supply of overruns are available for small projects and our designers can help determine if this is appropriate for your project. In these cases, flexibility in your palette and design are critical.
Because our handcrafted tile is made to order for your unique project, lead times will vary depending on demand.
