For the fourth installation in our Postcards From Detroit series, Pewabic celebrates a local landmark close to our own hearts, the Detroit Institute of Arts, featuring the museum’s iconic Woodward façade including its well-loved 1904 Rodin bronze The Thinker. Pewabic founder Mary Chase Perry Stratton was especially proud of her installations at the DIA, considering them to be ‘a lasting record of the Pewabic Pottery.’
