Designed and sculpted by Pewabic artist Azucena Nava-Moreno, this Sculpted Cat Tile debuted in 2011. Over the years, cats have been a mainstay in Pewabic’s culture. Our founder Mary Chase Perry Stratton used cat motifs in her early tile installations and the pottery has been home to a few “studio cats” over the years.

Our high-sculpted relief cat tile is the cat’s meow set in a quarter sawn oak frame made by Family Woodworks out of Piketon, Ohio.
