For over 100 years Pewabic has collaborated with artists and institutions across Detroit. We continue this tradition today, working with Shinola, the Belle Isle Conservancy, the Ruth Ellis Foundation, Rebel Nell, Stickley, and even education institutions to create truly one of a kind tiles.

Shinola Candle Holder

The Wayne State University tile is displayed on a map of Detroit. The tile boasts a prominent W in the center of the design that is hovering over a simple line drawing of the Old Main. On the bottom of the tile "Wayne State" is written in bold lettering and the dates 1868 and 2018 are displayed across the top- in celebration of Wayne State's 150 years as a learning institution. This whole design is depressed into a flat tile. The depressions hold glossy green and gold glaze.

4X4 WSU 150th Anniversary Tile

These round, disc-like ornaments feature an MSU Spartan helmet with a large crest.

The ceramic Scott Fountain tile design features the Fountain itself in the center with the words "Belle Isle - Scott Fountain - Detroit, Michigan" around it. The date the tile was constructed - 1925 - is also featured at the bottom of the design. The tile is glazed in a glossy deep blue color.

The Belle Isle aquarium tile features the architectural facade above the entrance. Below the facade are the words "Aquarium - 1904". The tile is glazed in the matte light green Sweet Pea glaze.
