Based on Detroit’s most iconic bird, this Pheasant Tile was designed by Pewabic artist Azucena Nava-Moreno. Although the birds aren’t native to the United States, the open, grassy spaces in Detroit have let the birds thrive. They have become an unofficial mascot of the city.
