Framed Cat Tiles | Celadon
$226.00
Originally designed as part of a 1926 drinking fountain installation in Detroit’s Schulze Elementary School, our line-drawn Cat Tile wearing a distinctive bow continues to be a Pewabic favorite.
This line-drawn Two Flowers Tile is from a series designed for the Sarah Caulkins Johnson House in Detroit’s Indian Village Historic District, not far from Pewabic Pottery. The design later appeared as an element in many of Pewabic’s private installations.
This tile is set in a quarter-sawn oak frame made by Family Woodworks out of Piketon, Ohio.
