Explore our fabrication studios during self-guided tour hours and pick up Halloween treats along the way! Costumes are not required, but highly encouraged.

Our fabrication teams will be dressed up and decking out their spaces for the holiday.

Join us at the pottery for all of your holiday gift shopping needs. Shop the newest handcrafted Pewabic designs along with work by over 50 artists in the Independent Artist Gallery. Explore the second floor Pewabic Museum and add a tour or workshop experience to make your visit to the Pewabic Holiday Showcase truely memorable!

This annual celebration of ceramic art kicks off on Thursday, November 6, 2025 with the release of the 2025 Pewabic Winter Collection and lots of new independent artist work. Make sure to save the dates for this year's showcase!

Kick off your holiday shopping with a stop at Pewabic's Student Sale. Our talented students will show off their wares in our upstairs museum gallery from 10 am - 5 pm. We are so excited to showcase their hard work!

Note: The Pewabic Museum will be closed on Friday, November 7, as our team prepares for the sale.

Walk the paths where art and history meet beneath your feet.

A Pewabic expert will guide you through the iconic tile installations at The Cathedral Church of St. Paul. These designs were the first to incorporate Pewabic's notable iridescent-glazed tiles.

Proceeds from these tours directly support Pewabic's mission and the maintenance of the Cathedral's over-century-old building.

On select Saturday dates listed below, we invite you to the Pottery to enjoy coffee, hot cocoa, and sweets while you shop our holiday showcase. We also encourage you and the entire family to get creative with Crafts with Kym, decorating your very own paper tree ornaments.

Guardian + Child Tile-Making Workshop and Docent-Led Pottery Tour

Join us as we debut our new seasonal winter workshop tile design! In this 1-hour, adult (16+) workshop, participants will choose one of our 4 designs - including the special winter tile design- and learn how to bulb glaze in the same way as our Pewabic fabrication team. Once fired, tiles will be ready for pick up at a later date. Seasonal winter tiles are only available during the Winter Term Workshops.

NCECA’s 60th conference, Volumes, takes place March 25 - 28, 2026

The Education Studio will be closed and inaccessible to all Pewabic students from March 22 - 29, 2026.

The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts' (NCECA) 60th annual conference will be held in Detroit from March 25 - 28 for the very first time.

Pewabic will be fully activated with a range of pre-conference events and events during the conference at the Pottery.

$50 Per Slot - includes admission for one legal guardian (18+) and one child (7-15 years of age).

Learn alongside your child in this 1-hour workshop where both participants will create their own tile using terracotta slabs, extra clay, and colored slips!

Children must be accompanied by an adult, and vice versa. Once fired, your tiles will be ready for pick-up at a later date.

During these 1-hour workshops, participants choose one of 4 tile designs, including our seasonal tile design, and learn how to glaze in the same way as our fabrication team. Once fired, tiles will be ready for pick up at a later date. Workshops are reserved for individuals 16 years of age and older. 

We are absolutely thrilled to offer the opportunity for pre-scheduled, docent-led tours through our captivating historic museum and modern fabrication facility.
