AVAILABILITY: YEAR-ROUND

In this one hour hands-on experience, participants create their own unique tile using terra cotta slabs, extra clay and colored slips.

$300 is the minimum price for tile workshops at $30 per person. 10 person minimum/25 maximum.

NOTE: Reservations and deposit are required to schedule this experience.

AVAILABILITY: YEAR-ROUND

In this one hour hands-on experience, participants will glaze a tile using the same techniques as Pewabic production staff.

$500 is the minimum price for this tile workshop at $50 per person. 10 person minimum/25 maximum.

AVAILABILITY: SEASONAL

In this two hour demonstration, participants will watch the magic of Raku firing. We bring our mobile kilns to your approved venue of choice, along with vessels that have been glazed ahead of time.

$700 is the minimum price for raku events at $35 per person + $500 base program fee.

NOTE: All raku firings are conducted outside. Your outdoor venue must meet our requirements.

AVAILABILITY: SEASONAL

In this program students learn the foundations of clay and basic handbuilding techniques. In our basic 4-week program, students will have the opportunity to work with clay one hour a week, and create a piece to move through the whole ceramic process. Program curriculum is aligned with Michigan state standards and benchmarks for visual arts.
