In this 3-week intensive, taught by local artist Chris King, intermediate students will focus on the fundamentals and fine details of throwing their own cups. You will build confidence in handling attachments, creating foot designs, and wheel-throwing stable + functional drinking vessels.
Who should register?
This intensive is designed for students who consider themselves intermediate to advanced and would like to focus on the form and function of a particular throwing technique focused on creating cups.
What’s Included?
- 3 hours of weekly instruction (during scheduled class time)
- Access to glazes, slips, and underglazes
- 3 open studio sessions per week (schedule posted)
- A personal studio shelf for your work
- First 25 pounds of clay provided
- The intensive is non-transferable, and no refunds will be issued after the first week of classes.
- Pewabic Education Studio is not responsible for rescheduling classes due to facility closures caused by inclement weather, power outages, CDC health shutdowns, schedule misunderstandings, or personal scheduling conflicts.
- Make-up classes are not guaranteed, and classes will not be prorated for missed sessions.
