Floral Medallion Necklace
This floral design is based off of a historic Pewabic tile motif most popular in the 1920s. Drinking fountains featuring this design still exist in Detroit’s Southeastern High School and the Women’s City Club. In fact, you can see one of these decorative installations in Pewabic’s museum. This tiled segment was recovered from a fountain in the former Northern High School and donated to our archival collection.
We celebrate our history of tile art with this bountiful bouquet of flowers that you can wear with you always.
