Geo Tiles Letterpress Postcard | Signal Return

Pewabic Ceramic Material Engineer Alex Thullen has spent years familiarizing himself with the historic glazes, clay, and tile designs spanning Pewabic’s over 120 years. This print features 24 historic tile designs found in schools, churches, residential buildings, and public spaces across Detroit and beyond. Each piece is printed at Signal Return on one of their vintage printing presses.

SIGNAL-RETURN

Founded in 2011, Signal-Return is a Detroit nonprofit dedicated to preserving and teaching traditional letterpress printing and building a community center for art, craft, design, and collaboration.
