Rachel Gervais created whimsical, colorful,handbuilt ceramics. Her simple forms are enhanced with different types of surface decorations. Incorporating different patterns, textures and bright colors is an homage to her own personal fashion style. It is her hope to add a bit of fun wherever these objects end up.
Rachel graduated in 2014 from College for Creative Studies in Detroit. She continues to make her own work at a studio she shares with friends. Additionally, she is a public school art teacher in Dearborn Heights, MI.
