Kevin Kwiatkowski grew up in the metro Detroit area and currently resides and keeps a studio in Detroit. His work focuses on function and social interaction. With the use of atmospheric kilns such as wood and salt, the fire has the final say on the composition of the piece. The elegance of the form and the chaos of the flame create the one-of-a-kind feel to each creation.
Kevin has been a studio artist and clay maker at Pewabic Pottery for over 10 years and currently acts as a Fabrication Supervisor.
