The original, larger format version of this Michigan Trivet was created by former Pewabic Designer Mario Lopez in 2008. Over the years, warping and cracking during the tile-making process necessitated a new, slightly smaller design. Current Pewabic Designer Chris Mayse reformatted the design and the new 6" Michigan Trivet Tile was unveiled in the summer of 2026. Whether you use it to protect your tabletops or hang it up as decor, you'll love this little piece of Michigan!
