Session I: September 8 – October 20 (7-week class, prorated for Labor Day)

Course Overview:
Join local artist Francesca Coker in this hands-on, intermediate‑level handbuilding course. This class is designed for students with prior clay experience, helping them refine their skills and explore intermediate techniques in handbuilding and glazing.

Who Should Take This Class?
Ideal for adults (18+) with prior handbuilding experience. Basic techniques will not be covered.

What’s Included:

  • 3 hours of weekly instruction
  • Access to glazes, slips, and underglazes
  • Kiln firings
  • Small, personal studio shelf
  • First 25 lbs. of clay 
  • 3 weekly open-studio sessions (schedule posted in advance) 

Important Information:
The class is non-transferable, and no refunds will be issued after the first week of classes. Pewabic Education Studio is not responsible for rescheduling classes due to inclement weather, power outages, CDC-related shutdowns, schedule misunderstandings, or personal conflicts.
