Session II: November 1 – December 13 (7‑week course)

Course Overview:
Led by Pewabic Education Studio Technician Erin Mae Burcham, this class focuses on foundational wheel-throwing techniques, which include centering, pulling, creating cylinders/cups/bowls, and basic glazing.

Who Should Take This Class?
This course is ideal for adults (18+) who are beginners or revisiting wheel-throwing fundamentals. Intermediate and advanced techniques will not be covered.

  • 3 hours of weekly instruction
  • Access to glazes, slips, and underglazes
  • Kiln firings
  • Small, personal studio shelf
  • First 25 lbs. of clay 
  • 3 weekly open-studio sessions (schedule posted in advance)

The class is non-transferable, and no refunds will be issued after the first week of classes. Pewabic Education Studio is not responsible for rescheduling classes due to inclement weather, power outages, CDC-related shutdowns, schedule misunderstandings, or personal conflicts.
