Spring and Summer 2022 registration opened Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 10 AM.
In order to keep everyone safe and to ensure that the studio can continue to be a haven for our students, we ask that students and staff adhere to our safety guidelines. Please read this entire page and let us know if you have any further questions.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE A NEW STUDENT, YOU MUST COMPLETE A BEGINNER LEVEL COURSE WITH US BEFORE MOVING TO INTERMEDIATE + ADVANCED COURSES.

Centering Sessions led by Limited Licensed Professional Counselor, Kathryn Whitlock, incorporate mindfulness-based art therapy and clay work.
Both 8-week class sessions offered during the Spring/Summer 2022 semester will be held on Thursday mornings from 10 AM - 1 PM.
Centering Sessions are open to both beginners and to intermediate/advanced students.
$240 per slot
Students will have the opportunity to receive instruction in wheel throwing or handbuilding during their 8 week course. Classes include 3 hours of instruction during scheduled times, firings, glazes, a studio shelf, open studio opportunities, and the first 25 pounds of clay.
Space is limited. Intermediate + Advanced classes are reserved for returning Pewabic students. New students must take a "beginner" class with us before moving onto the next level.
$240 per slot
During this 8 week course, students will learn how Pewabic traditionally designs, fabricates and glazes tiles. Sculpting, carving and hand-painting will be covered, as well as mold-making for pressing tile.
Space is limited. Intermediate + Advanced classes are reserved for returning Pewabic students. New students must take a "beginner" class with us before moving onto the next level.
$180 per slot
In this 8 week standing studio reservation, students will have the opportunity to access the studio for independent work. A studio staff member will be available for basic questions, but not for demos. This includes 3 hours of studio access a week during a scheduled time window, firings, glazes, a studio shelf, and the first 25 pounds of clay. Please note that the number of hand building and wheel throwing students per time period is limited.
This is for returning Pewabic students with clay experience only. There is no instruction. Students must adhere to all health and safety requirements outlined by the studio.
$105 per slot
In this 8 week studio drop off system, students will have access to firings and studio glazes for independent work at home. A studio staff member will be available via email or scheduled video chat. This includes studio ware drop off and pick up during scheduled times, firings, glaze, and the first 25 pounds of clay.
Space is limited. This is for returning Pewabic students with clay experience only. There is no instruction. Students must adhere to all health and safety requirements outlined by the studio.
